Small Agents, Big Return

Simple AI agents you'll actually run every week — built on data you can already export. No integration project, no IT ticket, no app to maintain.

Save your seat

October 8, 11:00am ET. 60 minutes. Recording sent to everyone who registers.

We'll pick the live builds based on what you tell us.

We'll email you a calendar invite and setup instructions. No spam, and we won't share your information.

Why we're back

In April at ISA26 in Cleveland, about 100 people spent two hours building AI tools. A vendor management portal. An attribution engine. A product data enhancement engine. A route planner for outside sales. A commission calculator. Real things, built in an afternoon, by people in sales and operations who don’t write code.

We sponsored that room. And we’ve spent the months since building this stuff every day.

Here’s what we’ve learned: the tools that survive aren’t the impressive ones. They’re the small ones. The agent that takes ten minutes to set up and then runs every Monday morning for the rest of the year beats the app you demoed once and never opened again.

So this session is about the small ones. Three agents, built live, that you could have running by Friday.

What you'll take away

You don't need an integration. You need an export.

Every one of these runs on data you can already get out of your systems today — a CSV from your ERP, your inbox, your calendar. No API project. No IT approval. No waiting on a vendor.

Small and repetitive beats big and impressive.

An agent that runs every week is worth more than an app that gets shown once. We'll focus on the things you'll use on a schedule, not the one-time party trick.

The value is in your data, not the tool.

An AI agent with nothing to work from is a demo. Point the same agent at your own pipeline, your own order history, your own week, and it starts doing real work. That's the whole difference, and it's the part most AI content skips.

Ideas we'll cover

We'll build the three marked below live, and give you the rest to take home.

Start with a CSV you already export

  • Margin leak finderBuilt live

Export closed orders, ask what's quietly underpriced — by customer, product line, or rep.

  • Weekly pipeline review

Drop in your open quotes. What moved, what went quiet, who to call today, what’s about to slip.

  • At-risk customer scan

Drop in a year of order history. Who used to order monthly and hasn’t in six weeks.

  • Rep activity digest

The same export, rolled up per rep, written as a coaching note instead of a dashboard.

Use your inbox and calendar

  • Pre-meeting prep agentBuilt live

Before every customer call, pulls what they last ordered, what you last emailed about, and what’s still open. Fires 30 minutes ahead.

  • Daily brief

Runs at 6am. The three things that matter today and the one you’re unprepared for.

  • Work and home coordinator

Runs against both calendars and flags the collisions before they happen. Underrated, and the one people tell us about afterward.

  • Email triage on your rules

Not "summarize my inbox." Your rules: top-20 customers surface, quote requests get flagged, everything else waits.

Recurring reports and dashboards

  • Your own dashboardBuilt live

Built once from an export, refreshed by dropping in a new file.

  • Automated weekly report

The same numbers you pull by hand, generated and formatted the way you’d present them.

  • Meeting notes to action items

Runs after the call and produces the follow-ups you’d have forgotten.

Agenda

60 minutes, most of it hands-on-screen.

7 segments · tap any one for detail

  1. 4 minWhy we're back
What we’ve learned since April, and what you told us is repetitive about your week.
  2. 5 minOne agent, running
No slides. We show a working agent, live, from a standing start.
  3. 7 minWhat's changed since April
You’re no longer building an app. You’re building something small that runs without you. Plus what’s genuinely new in the tools.
  4. 6 minThe idea menu
Every idea above, on one slide, sorted by what input it needs. Useful even if you never build a thing.
  5. 25 minBuilt live
Three agents, start to finish, including the parts that break. We don’t edit out the dead ends.
  6. 9 minQ&A
    Bring your questions to chat.
  7. 4 minTake-home and office hours
What you’re leaving with, and how to get a human to look at your specific problem.

What you're leaving with

A prompt pack
The exact prompts behind everything we build, ready to paste.
A starter project
A working version you can copy and point at your own data.
"How to get IT to say yes"
One page. The questions your IT team will ask about these tools, and honest answers to give them. This is the one attendees ask us for most.
The recording
Sent to everyone who registers.

A Yeti for your time

Everyone who attends the live session gets a Matterhaul-branded Yeti bottle. No catch - it's for showing up and giving us an hour. We'll follow up after the webinar to get your shipping details.

Office hours

The recording covers the build. Office hours are the part you can’t get later.

The week after, we’re holding a 30-minute open session in small groups by role — sales, operations, and leadership/IT. Bring the thing you’re stuck on and screen-share it. Someone from our team will work through it with you.

Held the week of October 12 — we’ll send exact times to everyone who opts in. Optional, free, and capped so it stays useful.

Who this is for

Sales, operations, and leadership at distributors and manufacturers who want AI doing something useful in their actual week. You don’t need to write code. You don’t need to have attended ISA26 — if a colleague forwarded this, you’re in the right place.

If you’re already deploying agents against live production systems, this will be too basic.

Who's running it

Shawn Razek

Founder & CEO, Matterhaul

Shawn was on job sites with his dad by the age of eight. He was installing HVAC units at thirteen and renovating full homes by sixteen. He later became a distributor himself, trying to streamline the supply chain he kept running into.

Then he spent years building modern supply chain and business systems at companies like Meraki, Verkada, and Stripe. The contrast stuck with him. He was shipping hardware around the world with sophisticated software by day, then dealing with the building materials world the old-school way on his own projects. That gap is why Matterhaul exists.

FAQ

  • Do I need to know how to code?
No. Nobody in the ISA26 room was a developer, and they built working tools in two hours.
  • Do I need to build along during the session?
No. Watch, take the guide, build after. We'd rather you pay attention than fight your setup on a live call.
  • What tools are you using?
Claude Code and Lovable. Free or low-cost tiers are enough for everything we demo. We'll send setup instructions two days before so you can check whether your company allows them.
  • What if my company blocks these tools?
It happens, and it's worth knowing before the call. The take-home guide covers the questions IT will ask and how to answer them.
  • Do I need to bring any data?
Not to attend. To build afterward, all you need is a CSV you can already export from your existing systems.
  • Is this a Matterhaul product pitch?
No. It's a workshop on off-the-shelf tools you can use whether or not you ever talk to us. We'll spend the last two minutes telling you what we do, and that's it.
  • Will it be recorded?
Yes, and everyone who registers gets it — whether or not you attend.
  • Is it really free?
Yes. No cost, no sales call required.

About Matterhaul

Matterhaul builds AI-native software for distributors of construction and industrial materials — quoting, orders, product data, and customer management in one system, connected to what you already run. That’s not what this session is about. But if you want to see it, reach out.
